The Preschool Ministry of FBC is committed to introducing preschoolers to Jesus by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of children and their families. We are committed to providing a safe, loving, God-centered environment where preschoolers are provided with a spiritual foundation on which all future Bible study can be built.

Sunday Events

E.T.C. (Extended Teaching Care)

Times: 8:15 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.
Ages: Birth - 3 years old
E.T.C. teachers extend the Sunday School lesson for younger preschoolers during the morning worship services. The teachers utilize various teaching methods to share God's love with preschoolers. E.T.C. is provided in the preschool area of the Worship Center.

Worship

Times: 8:15 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.
Preschoolers, ages 4 and older, are invited to attend the morning worship services. During the 10:45 Classic service, all of the children are invited to the front of the auditorium for a special "Time with Our Children".

Sunday School

Time: 9:30-10:30 a.m.
In Sunday School, preschoolers are taught basic biblical principles. Preschool teachers are prepared with lesson plans that are age-appropriate, and the departments are divided into age groups by birthdate:
Preschool A (9/08 - 8/10) – Room W-14
Preschool B (9/07 - 8/08) – Room W-12
Preschool C (9/06 - 8/07) – Room W-13
Preschool D (9/04 - 8/06) – Room W-11

Preschool DT

Time: 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Ages: Birth - 3 years old
In Preschool DT, teachers are prepared with lesson plans that are age-appropriate to accomodate parents for Discipleship Training or Choir.

Mission Friends

Time: 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Ages: Birth - Kindergarten
Mission Friends is a missions-focused class. Preschoolers learn about mission work in other countries and states, often exploring other cultures.

Celebration Choir Child Care

Time: 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Ages: Birth - Kindergarten
This extended child care hour (in room W-12) is for children whose parents are in Celebration Choir.

Special Events

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Time: 8:45 a.m.-12 noon
Ages: Completed Kindergarten - 6th Grade
Held June 21-25, 2010, this event is one of the biggest preschool and children's events offered all year at FBC. This theme-based Bible School is for children who have completed Kindergarten through the sixth grade. Van rides are available for VBS.
