 Family: Married to Lynn. We have four sons -- Matthew (Married to Lindsey), Michael, Marcus and Mackenzie.
A look at the past: I have served here at FBC since 1994. On March 11, 2007, I began a new journey here as the senior pastor. Before moving to Bloomfield, I served in three churches and toured three years with the Continental Singers (I must have started at age 12). I am a graduate of Eastern New Mexico Unversity and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I also have served on the Bloomfield City Council. I am serving as the vice chairman of the Baptist Convention of New Mexico Executive Board.
A look at the future: I hope to continue serving here at FBC for many years and help direct God's work here. I'd like to become a better husband and father and become a grandfather...someday. Now that I'm at my "playing" weight, I'd like to play as many games/rounds of racquetball, basketball, golf, etc. as possible.
Little known fact: I have driven a tank (briefly). I am distantly related to the world's tallest man.
Advice to others: Follow God more today than you ever have! Serve God by serving others!
